
Shortly after graduating in Canada in 1986, Nicola returned to Guernsey and remained on the island to pursue a career in finance. In 1988, Nicola joined the States of Guernsey for over 14 years, mostly with the Health and Social Services Department, where she gained training and experience in management accounting, financial accounting, budgeting and financial planning. After leaving the States of Guernsey, Nicola joined the Trust and Company industry to gain experience in client accounting and to continue with management accounting. In 2008 Nicola joined Marlborough as the Finance Manager and in was promoted to Head of Finance in 2011, where she is responsible for managing the finance team and all accounts across the group.

Adrian has broad experience of the finance industry having worked in fund management, investments, insurance and lending. After leaving full time education in 1988 he worked for a merchant bank in their offshore banking and investment divisions. After five years he moved into financial services and worked for an international life company providing advice on insurance and trust products.
In 2001 he accepted the position of marketing director of a local trust company associated to one of the largest law firms in the Channel Islands. Adrian left after three successful years to assist in the creation and development of Marlborough Trust Company where he is a member of the Board. Adrian is member of AMPS and a committee member of the Guernsey Association of Pension Providers.

Kim’s first job after leaving school was as a claims assistant at a local insurance broker. After a couple of years she decided on a change in career and moved to SG Hambros as a junior administrator in 1998. Kim had progressed to client administrator and also completed the Guernsey certificate in offshore administration before leaving to have her first child in 2001.
Kim returned to SG Hambros following her maternity leave in a part time role preparing client accounts. After six months she transferred back into an administration role before taking an extended break with her second and third children. Kim returned to SG Hambros once more on reduced hours in a temporary role in 2007.
In February 2009, Kim began a contract position at Marlborough Trust Company in one of the administration teams. The contract was extended and Kim moved into the newly formed finance team at Marlborough in September 2009 as a client accounting officer.

Graduating with a 2:1 BA (Honours) degree in 2003, Jo remained in the UK and pursued a career in the National Health Service. Forming part of the Business Development Team she undertook the role as Implementation Manager for the provision of temporary medical staff for three major NHS Trusts in the South West of England.
After returning to Guernsey in May 2008 Jo took up a contract position for the Fractional Ownership Consultancy Limited and shortly after moved in to a client administration role within Marlborough. More recently Jo has become part of the finance team and works as a finance officer on the management accounting side of the business.
